Bottom is a single 16¡¨ chocolate cake, topped with two 12¡¨ Funfetti cakes; both covered in vanilla butter cream frosting; crushed graham crackers/brown sugar mixture added as sand. Center support is tall tier cake stand (plastic rod that screws into base plate) which is covered in candy clay that I cut out with a medium leaf cutter and layered on to look like a palm tree trunk; leaves are hand cut candy clay; coconuts and monkey are also made of candy clay; bananas are runt¡¦s candies. There was a bit of a problem in delivery ¡V monkey fell off the top and the overhang of the leaves melted off in the >90 degree heat ¼ I remade a monkey (which got placed on the bottom) and we called it hurricane island --- everyone ended up happy.
