So here is my dad's 50th birthday cake. Let me lay out the plan and then what it turned into. The plan was vermont green mountain ridge line with white puffy cotton candy clouds on top, and the model of his sailplane on a wire flying above the mountain and clouds. Problem. The humidity was ridiculous and they don't have AC. the glider would not dry after 4 days!!! couldn't go on a wire. the cotton candy literally melted before my eyes. the whole thing was just a mess but everyone at the party went on and on about it. good thing i was in rural vermont!
