The groom gave me the specifications... "there's green in our wedding." What could go wrong did go wrong with this cake. Because of the humidity the fondant never dried. The first flower cracked in half the day before the event. I made new flowers taht were still limp the morning of delivery... Thanks to the internet- I discovered you can dry it in the oven on a LOW temperature. 2 attempts at fondanting the cakes, 3 design changes, and 1 broken flower later... here is what I ended with- a pink champagne cake with champagne buttercream. Marshmallow fondant it's not! Have to try a different receipe for that one next time. Oh, and the bride loved it... Phew!
