I was hired by Louis Vuitton North America to create a cake for the Inauguration of their newest manufacturing/distribution center in Ontario, Ca! After many, many, many, design sessions, changes, tweaking, etc., this is the final design they chose! The logos are all fondant cut-outs from stencils I hand made! The cake is covered in dark modeling chocolate to simulate leather, and the cake is trimmed out to resemble a steamer trunk, which is what Louis Vuitton originally manufactured back in the day! Oh...BTW...there is another identical cake too! They needed TWO cakes for the event because they had so many VIP's in attendance! This cake has been my whole life for the past month and half!! I'm so happy to have been chosen by such a prestigious client!! TFL!
