Pauline's Wedding on Cake Central

One of the more unique wedding cakes I've ever done...a 4 tier (5, 8, 12, 16 inch) charleston style pound cake covered in ivory buttercream with black satin ice details. The couple wanted alternating fresh strawberry preserve filling and mocha buttercream filling. The flowers were of ivory, peach and coral hues and were chosen by the bride. The design was also my bride's idea- I think it turned out to be a very cute cake...more of a Sweet 16 than a wedding at the country club...but cute none the less! :) The couple loved it...and that's the most important thing!
