I wanted to find another use for my silicon cupcake cups that I purchased to make our Godson's train cake. The bunny face seemed perfect with the pointed ears, etc. so I played around with the layout and got this design. I have included a picture of the empty cups in case anyone else wants to try it. The key to these cakes is to make sure you fill the cups a little over the indicated line so that the tops bake together for easier decorating. Notice the basketweave on the bow tie. I tried to use tips with buttercream so I could put the design right on the cupcake and not have to put on an initial layer of icing.
