Anyways, this cake was done back in January for the March issue of Cake Central Magazine. Jackie wanted something dark with a splash of color. I would have used bright flowers but at that time, I didn't have the supplies. I promised myself I won't be using the buds and birds anymore because it's been overused--but then again, this was done before my competition and my blue cake (so it has already ended). I'm satisfied with this cake although I wish I had made a much grander cake. Thanks Cake Central Magazine!
