My failed entry to the Queen City Sugar Art Show. I didn't even enter it, I'm so embarrassed. It is iced in RI and brush embroidered. The flowers are gumpaste and they were assembled badly.

Sigh....maybe next year. *edited to add* I've been shamed by my daughter into entering this. I've decided to add 3 flowers to help hide the gaps and some little piped ones on the actual cake. Not a quality I'd like to enter in a contest....but now I can't let her down. I'll post a finished picture later. **** evidently one person's disaster is another person's success. This scored a gold in the show. I am apparently a dunce.
