I made this cake for my niece's 18th birthday. It was my first attempt at making a pocketbook cake. I took several ideas from several differant cakes found on this site. Thank you! The cake is butter cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. The trim and handles are made with gumpaste. Gold accents are lusterdust painted on with rum. Thank you for looking:)
