I stenciled the rose pattern onto the cake and piped with a #2. The bow was fondant and painted to get that brushed look. Took forever to do this one, but I had fun with it.

Thanks guys, you all are so kind! I too, actually liked the fact that the bow did not exactly match the roses. That was on purpose, not an oversight.

awesome cake!! i love the bow just the way it is too but i really love the stenciled detail along the side. i wish you could see it better. this is very nice!!

I think this is really pretty - the grain on the bow is amazing. And I actually like that the roses are not exactly the same shade/color as the bow. Nice job!
