I used the scallop pan to make this baby bib cake for a friend's baby shower. The hobby horse design came from the napkins and plates we were using. To make the booties I used tip #199 and began by forming the toe of the bootie and then the ankle part. A top and tie can then be piped on for the finishing touch. Since this was for a boy, I piped the outline border with small lines to form the edge, but I have used the rose tip for a ruffled border for a girl's cake.
