After making this cake I have confidence that I could make a standing version of R2D2. I stacked two 1/4 sheet cakes and went from there! The legs are scraps of cake that I iced separately. I've seen cereal treats used for the legs too. R2's surface is butter cream and some of the details are fondant. I think the little silver fondant nozzle pointing off the the side makes this cake better than if it were head on. I used a tooth pick to secure it.
