My 2nd time doing MMF to cover a cake. I learned more. LOL. I think my first time was better!! I really have to sift. I had chunks of powdered sugar in it- that sucked. Then it was cracking because I rolled it out like 3x (I couldn't recall if I wanted crisco down to keep it from sticking or powdered sugar- it's crisco for me). And it was humid here...As far as the design went. Well it's what happens when you have no clear plan and have to cover up little holes and cracks!
