I made this as a practice cake. My friend wants a pig cake for her father inlaw's 59th birthday, and since I have only made 6 cakes ever, I thought I should practice! The real cake will be 2 tiers (body and head), and have feet, lettuce leaves and X's for eyes. The party is an Hawaiian luau with a hog roast. Do you guys think a 10in bottom and an 8 inch top will feed 50? That is my biggest concern. I thought about doing cupcakes around it decorated to look like a lei.
