Found this idea on here, but forgot by who - sorry! This was made for my husband's grad party from college. His school colors weren't red & black, but he loves those so I went with it. He saw this design & loved it. Cake is carved from two 1/2 sheets. Chocolate, strawberry, and confetti cake w/buttercream frosting. Striping technique used on borders. Smaller cake was leftover - mocha cake w/vanilla frosting. I did a swirled effect to the frosting - mostly to try it out, but also because I wanted something different. I like how it looks!
