My sister-in-law wanted a fondant cake for her wedding, but didnt want to spend much and asked me if I could do it. I had only used fondant once before and it was six yrs ago. I practiced once and then drove to El Paso, TX to make it for her. It didnt come out too bad. Other than my practice cake, it was my first wedding cake and fondant cake. It was a butterfly theme with the color yellow, so butterflies cover the 3 tiered cake and the single tiers on the sides along with a soft yellow ribbon around each base. It was an outdoor wedding and the tealight candles (battery operated) lit up under the cake at night!
