This is a cake I did 7/24/09. It is a practice cake.Key lime flavored cake with cream cheese icing and mmf overlay. I am a self taught decorator and this cake proved I don't know what i'm doing with mmf. I tried mmf for the first time on this cake and it was a disaster. It tastes real good but it ended up looking like dried up gum. I tried to smooth it and it did the elephant skin look and it was falling off in the back(notice no 360 view ) lol. Where did I go wrong I don't know. Off to practice again. If you have any advice please feel free to leave it I won't quit until I perfect mmf. Like the chinese writing on the cake says "SUCCESS" . I to will be a success at mmf lol :)
