Pixie Hollow

This was from the Wilton Yearbook. A friend asked for Tinkerbell and I thought this design was great. 14in round white cake with buttercream and raspberry preserves. Iced with blue buttercream and then blue and purple mist sprayed on it. The cake was placed on a tiered cake stand so the trunk is fondant that has been wrapped around the plastic piece and then shaped into a tree and accented with luster dust. Branches are fondant with lollipop sticks as support. Leaves are fondant with gumtex added and painted with luster dust. Top tier 8 in. round with half sports ball on top. Tinkerbell made from fondant with gumtex added.
