This was done for a friend's son whom I've known since he was 8. This took me forever... especially the cap. The family loved it... especially the Grad so it was worth all the problems. Choc bottom layer & white top with choc BC filling. Outside is plain BC. Diploma - 50% pastillage & 50% MMF. Letters are chocolate but kept breaking when removed from mold... will try to add wax next time. Sprinkled with edible glitter and the silver was edible confetti. Cap was the most difficult - started as pastillage but was too brittle, covered in chocolate but didn't like the texture, finally finished it with BC. The swags on the sides were MMF and all tassels are BC. Swags were painted with silver luster dust but the pics don't show the silver that well. I've only done a few cakes but they're getting better with practice. Thanks for looking!
