"Upside down" wedding cake.. literally. My boss challenged us to make one of these from a picture he had seen in our company newsletter... then he lost the picture. Do you know how hard it is to find an upside down wedding cake on the internet!! I finally found -1- , used it kind of as an example, but this cake here is actually a version of one our store actually makes right side up! After doing the cake, I had one of those big DUH moments when I realized I did it all wrong. So, now if some smart-aleck (sp) wants to order one, I'll have a better idea how to actually put one together! Cake was 12" 10" 8" 6". It is all "white russian" (yes, made with Kahlua) flavored buttercream with royal icing decoration & trim. The cake itself was a half & half with the chocolate halves being white russian flavor and the yellow cake was simply vanilla. It made a great afternoon snack for everyone at work!!
