My son requested a red spitting cobra cake for his 5th birthday and here is what I came up with after viewing other snake cakes (thanks to all for the ideas and inspiration). It is chocolate cake made in small tube pans with chocolate buttercream frosting covered in MMF and brushed with copper lustre dust. The head and upright body are made from rice krispie treats and covered in MMF. The "spit" is sugar work. TFL
