my first wedding cake, all flowers made out of gumpaste. then went from NC to Illinois, with no breakage, prebaked everything, all i had to do was fondant and assemble once there. there was a bit of slipage on the sides of the cake layers once it thawed though, but in the end not too bad for the first time. and i have only been doing this for about 8months now...
