The idea for this cake came from alimonkey, and mine didn't turn out nearly as gorgeous as hers. I was in a really big hurry to finish it and get it to the restaurant and my ganache didn't set enough, so it was super runny! It was for my own birthday (and my two friends who share the same birthday), so it wasn't the end of the world. I wasn't terribly happy with it, but at least it wasn't for a customer! But in the end all of my friends loved it and the waitress even asked for my card (she has 8 kids! jackpot!) So it couldn't have been too bad :)
