Here's the beach cake that the four-layer volcano was to go on. The dolls are Polly Pockets and the water was made with buttercream that had three shades of blue that were partially blended. The sand is graham cracker crumbs. The volcano was to go in the purple corner (I had leftover purple icing from another cake so I thought why not?). I did end up baking four new round layers and finished the whole blasted cake at 3:30 AM. I was so tired I forgot to take a pic of the finished product. The class and the room moms loved it, though!
