Erupting Volcano Cake
This was a cake of many "firsts" for me. I covered the cake board in marbled fondant, used my new lettering molds, and used dry ice. Many hours were spent on this one, but so worth it. My grandkids even helped a bit by making the rocks out of fondant. Chocolate cake using the wonder mold. When the cake was still frozen, I inserted a tomato paste can and later filled it with the dry ice at the party. Palm tree leaves were fondant with pearl dust. Sanding sugar, cake crumbs & brown sugar for the dirt.
