i have a friend who knits all the time, so i made this for her birthday. the string balls are mini bundts, covered with buttercream strings. the basket is lemon buttercream. i used wooden skewers for the knitting needles, with fondant on the ends to make them look like needles. the knitted scarf is fondant, covered with buttercream z's to look like knitting.
