My boy loved DodgeVipers & wanted 1 for his 6th bdaycake so I went to a cake supply shop & got snubbed by the attendant who told me to NOT even try attempt a 3D cake but that I'd be better off piping a picture on a cakee& to trust her cos she was a 'PROFESSIONAL'! Not feeling confident with my piping abiilties I trusted my gut & went ahead buying the fondant much against her advice! Ahh The CakeGods mustve been with me the day I made this cos it came out so well, it surprised everyone including ME! :D And all the Mums were saying I shouldve taken the photos back into the shop & shown that woman & say "Gee, ...and Im NOT a PROFESSIONAL!?!" ;) I couldnt but I shouldve! LOL But it does make me smile inside everytime I think back to that incident & reminds me to never underestimate one's self WILL to try take on some new challege!
