I made this cake for a small New Year's get-together I had with some friends. Really, it was just a good excuse to practice some piping. I used blue fondant and white royal icing for piping. My hand was shaking like a leaf so the piping didn't turn out exactly as I was hoping. Practice, practice, practice!
