My girls love Curious George. I did this as a back-to-school cake but really I just wanted to re-create this scene from the movie in cake. Pineapple cake with ganache filling and banana flavored buttercream frosting. Paint splatters on floor are royal icing. The chair is covered in fondant. I painted the chair stripes and the background with food coloring diluted with rum. Banana border is fondant. Thanks to bmote1 and freddyfl for some ideas!
