Doing It The Hard Way
This is the top tier of a three tier wedding cake (I did not assemble it for pictures as some is still fragile)...Cake is french vanilla with a whipped custard filling and covered in Satin Ice.Rather then doing royal icing dot work I chose to make it utilizing white non parell candies. Also 22K gold used to accent and mark the dowel position.The heart in the center is a cast white chocolate piece using red dots to appear liked rubies.
