My cousin sometimes paddle boards from the California mainland to Catalina Island, where she lives. She took me out in the ocean with her one day and all I kept asking was "what if there's a shark". Our birthdays are the same week, so I thought it would be fun to capture that day. This is a pound cake with buttercream frosting & characters are made from fondant.
