This cake was for my daughters 8th birthday party. It took us 2 days to put it together.The bottom and top layers/sections is a 2 layer white cake with homeade buttercream icing. The flowers are marshmellows cut, formed into petals, & rolled in colored sugar granuals. With buttercream centers. The carousel rod we used a dowelrod, with a wooden ball on top. I covered it with rhinestones, and white flowers. Then glued ribbons to it and to the horses (they were ordered from the carousel store online. SO GREAT!
