First Cupcake Bouquet
My first attempt at a cupcake bouquet. I had to put it together before the kids started eating the cupcakes so I didn't get a chance to fil in the white spots. It was also my first attempt at making "flower cupcakes." I am planning on using these as centerpieces for an 80th birthday party in August so have lots of practice a head of me. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
I think they look beautiful. maybe some leaves or flower centers?
I think they're beautiful. I like how the color is kind of two toned...as it would really be. I think just adding some shredded tissue to cover that styrofoam will make your centerpieces masterpieces. Well done.
I love the design on the cupcakes! One question, how did you get them to stick in? I tried an the cupcakes just slide through the pick? Very pretty!!
Thanks for the comments. I used two toothpicks in most of the cupcakes and I put a toothpick along the edges of each of the outside cupcakes to prop up the cupcakes. I wanted to add the finishing touches but the cupcakes started to vanish. I will have to make child decoy cupcakes next time.
