thanks everyone!!! I didnt' have the shapes I wantded, so the cutters were made specially (my inspiration was the bat mitzvah fish that I had done a few weeks before, and I had to make the fish shapes match the centerpieces). I used royal icing (Antonia74's recipe).
How do you get the icing so close to the edge without spilling down? Do you pipe an outline first in thivker icing and then pipe straight away like antonia74 says to?
