all fondant, except for bows on top & sides w/c is gumpaste...first time to use my diamond quilt cutter & impression mat..really working hard to get a smooth finish w/ fondant..hopefully i'm getting there..any comments to make my work better are welcome :-) ...thanks for looking
That is beautiful
What an amazing cake! Beautiful, precise work. Only one thought (and I am no expert): perhaps make the width of the bows on the bottom tier the same as the loops on the top tier, just to tie the 2 tiers together? It's not really a criticism (I think the cake is just perfect as is)... more of just an "idea" because you asked...
thanks winter1979 & petit-four. i'm taking note of your idea on my next project :)
Nice design, great job on the fondant, very clean and sharp. Love it!
thank you all!!! :D what my cc family says count a lot.i'm glad you liked it
Beautiful! I don't see a thing wrong. I like the way you made the strips of the bow less wide than usual.
From above I think that's about the prettiest loop bow I've ever seen! I like how your base row of loops lays sideways againt the cake. Makes a very attractive topper. i wouldn't change a thing about this cake. It looks perfect to me.
Looks like you did an excellent job of getting the fonant smooth. Very pretty cake design. I love the little hints of color in the flower centers.
Beautiful ,great work!!
