My First (And Probably Last!) Wedding Cake!

My first wedding cake! And probably my last, too, since I was a total stress case! Apologies for the poor lighting - it is actually brown and white, not black and white. Anyway, it is 10" (WASC with Raspberry filling), 8" (chocolate with ganache filling), and 6" (WASC with ganache filling) squares, iced in IMBC, covered in Michele Foster's fondant. Scrolling is done in fondant since I'm a terrible piper. The "B" on top (which you can hardly see in the pic due to the poor lighting!) is RI.

Beautiful cake! I llike your scrolls and the way you displayed the cake. Looks great. I do know about the stressing over a wedding cake. I've only done 2 and my worst fear is that something would happen to the cake and the couple would have no wedding cake.

Oh this is sooo beautiful. You must try at least one more time....I felt the same way after my first wedding cake...I promise it gets more enjoyable and less stressful.

Thanks so much for all the kind compliments! I enjoyed doing the cake but I don't know if I can handle the stress again! LOL I guess we will see if another opportunity comes up :D
