I made these cakes for a teacher's bridal shower at my school. It was postponed one time, and we finally had it today. I made two 10-inch white sour cream cakes with chocolate hazelnut filling. I also made one 8-inch white sour cream cake with lime curd filling. I did the basketweave around the perimeter of each cake. Boy, was that time consuming!!! I am still working on improving my rose making ability so I used silk roses instead. Everyone said the cakes looked beautiful and tasted great.
