Thank you CC'ers. The variegated fondant ribbon is a technique I learned from a book I found at local cake supply store. Its called "The Book of Patterned Pastes". Author Geraldine Dahlke. I found the t echnique easier to apply to ribbons and variegated flowers than to actually covering the cake with it. Fun to learn though and I think I will use it over and over.
