Shadow's Calla Lillies
Calla Lily cake made for my cousin's bridal/bachelorette party. MY FIRST TIME making this flower!!! Not too bad if I do say so myself! Thanks so much to tonedna for the inspiration! My cousin just had to have her little touch of red, so that's why the little red flowers. They didn't photograph very well but looked much better in person. TFL!!
Thank you for your kind comments. :) The leaves...I actually made them using a surf board cookie cutter! LoL! Hey sometimes you have to get creative. :lol: Then I used a corn husk silicone mold for texture.
your callas are GORGEOUS...you should be proud...I just bought a calla blossom cutter ....have never done one either...any tips? and what did you use for the leaves?
Just went back to look again...it's VERY elegant,and the red board is perfect with the red flowers..a favorite!!
