Truck made for my father in laws 75 birthday. Windows, grill, bumper and lights are fondant. The rest is buttercream because he is not all that fond of the taste of fondant. Buttercream is frosted with airbrush pearl.(we got a new toy) Tires are RKT with fondant

Hubby made a plywood base with dowel rods to hold it we just stuck it directly into the base cake. It was a trick to make sure it was axactly as high as needed to get the tires to sit just right.
