This was for the daughter of a co-worker. This was a very fun cake to make. I used 10" and 6" squares and the smallest hex and yes, the cake is dowelled.. The towers are both types of ice cream cones: cup and cone. The entire cake is covered in buttercream. The llittle squares are sugar cubes and the windows are piping gel. There are also royal icing drop flowers on some of the cubes and the towers. Anyone can make this cake. I made it multi tier to add serviings.
