Pink Holiday
critique group member: So I had to do a strawberry cake for Christmas, what the heck do you do with a pink cake for Christmas? Lucky for me I saw a cake, can't find it now to thank them but they were on CC.
Critique subgroup member: Your borders are fantastic. If you are going to write on a cake with design like this, you need to work on the placement to perfect it so it doesn't appear rushed or crunched. There should be the same space between the happy and candy cane as the Kevin and candy cane and you had more room for holidays if you placed the candy further out. Lay out a template on a back of the same size pan and then transfer to the cake.

Critique group member: I think you did a wonderful job make this pink cake look like Christmas!! Very nice. I like the border and the addition of the red dots is very nice. My only suggestion, and perhaps this is being picky?!, but maybe smooth out the lines on the candy cane. Overall nice presentation.
Critique subgroup member: The pink definately gives the idea of "peppermint"!! I too like the addition of the red dots on the border. The "i" in Kevin is different from the one in Holiday but you may have done that on purpose. Wonderful looking cake none the less! :P
