This was a very last minute cake. I was begged to do it tonight for tomorrow. (But that's my mom for you.) This was for one of her co-worker's who graduated today. The mortor board is a chocolate chip cookie covered in buttercream. The border around the top is my first attempt at a rope border. I like it, but it's not exactly a rope.
