This was a gag cake for the boss at my husband's office. He had some work done to his nose to repair a deviated septum or something like that. So, they all wanted a welcome back nose cake for him!! For this cake I baked a 12x18 sheet, cut it in half, then stacked the two halves together. I put bavarian cream filling in the middle first. Then I just freehand carved a nose shape. This sucker was a royal pain to ice though because of all of the crumbs. I did a crumb coat first in white, then iced it in the tan color. Of course it wouldn't be complete without some good old nose hairs added to it!!
