Final Cake - Course 3
This was my final cake from my course 3 class. If you've ever taken the Wilton courses, you know I didn't exactly follow the book! I had a ball creating this cake. The cake is devils food with buttercream between the layers (I'm still new at this so I haven't attempted any fillings yet) and covered with chocolate fondant. The flowers and decorations are made with tinted fondant. Since this was my first fondant cake it was very time consuming but worth every minute spent. Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed creating it! Thank you Tina!!
Stunning...I simply love it! Right into my favs...!
I LOVE the bright colors, and the roses are awesome, I have tried making a few roses and mine don't turn out that well! Great Job!

It is just beautiful. YOu did an awesome job with the flowers, and the colors and so bright and um, BRIGHT!!! Really nice work!
Awesome! I did Wilton 3, but did the same old traditional cake. Yellow roses on white. But this is amazing- I love it. How did your instructor react to this?
zenu, from the beginning, my instructor, Tina, had encouraged us to use our creative side. I had been using the bright colors since course one, but this is the first cake I had made with the chocolate fondant. Even I was amazed at how the colors really stand out on the dark background.
This cake is stunning. I love colour and I love chocolate.
I love the bright colors and how they pop against the chocolate fondant. I have always enjoyed my students that think outside the box!
