I cut up a plastic box that those foamies come in and made the cab. I did the same for a John Deere with haybales. It was a lot of fun to make! Just make sure you drive the plastic to the bottom of the base cake.
The controls are made from pretzels covered in fondant and the seat is a marshmallow cut in half. the steering wheel is wagonwheel pasta as are the tracks. the hydraulic cylinders are straws.
