Georgette's Wedding
Whew...yay...my first wedding cake...and it's done and I was please with it:~) It's a small wedding cake but a wedding cake nonetheless -- 12", 10" & 8". The bride wanted a non-traditional cake and opted for a "funfetti" cake with strawberry filling. It is covered in Satin Ice fondant with fondant drapes and gumpaste/fondant red roses. The topper was the bride's white chocolate bride/groom (and was not as white as I'd have liked it to be). Thanks for looking!
Gorgeous! Simply gorgeous!! I LOVE THIS CAKE! Your roses are beautiful and you did an awesome job on the diamond pattern! Your drapes look terrific and, well, you just did a fabulous job on this cake!! Into my favs it goes!!! Can't believe this is your first wedding cake! You should be soooo proud! :)
