A lady I know emailed me a photo of their boat and asked me to make a birthday cake for her husband. This is what I came up with. To be honest, I was not in love with the finished product, especially the tan top (made out of gumpaste). Carved boat covered in fondant with fondant accents. 14 inch cake in buttercream. The railing was made from wire (like HeatherMari did). I have not heard back from the lady. I hope she liked it.
