My very first tiered cake.I was practicing for a wedding cake i am doing in 2 weeks.Ignore the decorating i was just doodling to get the feel of the scroll pattern.I don't think it turned out that bad.I donated this to my son school so i wouldn't eat it.LOL
I think you did GREAT!!! The fondant will give it a smoother finish, but the scroll work looks really good! Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it, huh!?!?
I think the harder part is to get the cake strait and even and you did that, now practice some more on the scrolls and smothing the icing, There are a lot of different desings here on CC. You are a natural. Great job!!
