Princess Rory
This cake is covered in fondx. Bottom tier is 8" round and the top is 6" round. Each tier is probably 5-6" tall. The castle is rice crispies and the columns are plastic cake stand dowels. All covered in fondx with fondx accents. The butterflies and flowers are also fondx.
very cute and well done! Love the bricks! Great idea for the turrets! She is cute too!
She is just the cutest thing I have ever seen. I love her hair ringlets. Very nice.
wonderful job on your figure!!
yes, just adorable! :D
I LOVE this cake! Did you carve the steps or add them afterwards? Great job!
I did have to carve out the area first, cover with fondant then add the steps. It looks weird at first when there aren't any steps, but it ends up great after. Thanks for the comments :D
Thank you! I always wondered how you would cover steps with fondant. That makes much more sense!
your welcome.. :D
love it, love it, love it!!!!!! :D
for the brick woork, I just used a veining tool and scored it into the fondant. The turrets I made little cones out of thick paper and then placed the fondant over that. Let it dry and then take little pinches of fondant and stick them to your dried fondant cones. Make sure you put corn starch on your paper cone forms so that the fondant won't stick. :D
How did you do the bircks and turrets? Is the color airbrushed? Very BEAUTIFUL!!!! :)
Wow, what a... OMG your job is wonderful, very good design, the whole cake is fantastic.
once again, Awesome Cake! love the castle!
